HONOR has just unveiled its first gaming laptop – the Hunter V700. The laptop has a clean aluminum body with an RGB backlit logo and rear vents. It also features a full-sized keyboard.
Under the hood, the Hunter V700 has either an Intel Core i5-10300H and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX or an Intel Core i7-10750H and an NVIDIA RTX 2060. Both variants come with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and either a 512GB or 1TB NVMe SSD.
The Hunter V700 has a 16.1-inch IPS LCD panel with 1920x1080p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4.7mm bezels. The display also supports 100% sRGB.
The HONOR gaming laptop has a “Wind Valley” design which helps with thermal management. The design opens up the intake once the laptop is opened up. It relies on surrounding surfaces for heat dissipation. Inside it are two 12V fans.
As far as ports go, it offers a single HDMI 2.0, two USB 3.2, a USB 2.0, an Ethernet port, and a headphone jack combo. The gaming laptop supports Wi-Fi 6 and has a 56Wh battery.
The HONOR Hunter V700 is currently exclusive to China with no news whether it will see a global launch just yet. The base Core i5 + GTX 1660 Ti GPU with 512GB is available for CNY 7,499. The higher Core i7 + RTX 2060 and 512GB SSD will go for CNY 8,499. Lastly, the top-specced Core i7 + RTX 2060 with 1TB storage is priced at CNY 9,999.
