HONOR has just launched two new tablets for the global market at its IFA press conference – meet the HONOR Pad 6 and X6. The two new Pad series tablets were joined by three new AMD-powered laptops.
Both the HONOR Pad 6 and X6 are powered by a Kirin 710A chipset. These are the same tablets launched in China last July.
HONOR Pad 6
The HONOR Pad 6 has an aluminum body built around a 10.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1920×1200 resolution. The tablet is 7.55mm thick and weighs in at around 460g. It also packs two speakers with Huawei’s Histen 6.1 audio technology.
The Kirin710A is coupled with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage. In the optic department, it packs a 5MP main rear camera and a 2MP front lens.
It gets its power from a 5100mAh cell with 10W fast charging support via USB-C. Out of the box, it runs on Magic UI 3.1 on top of Android 10.0.
The HONOR Pad 6 will be available with LTE connectivity or Wi-Fi only.
HONOR Pad X6
The HONOR Pad X6 shares some of the features as the Pad 6 like the aluminum body, the 2MP front camera, and 5MP rear shooter, and two speakers.
The difference lies in the size and memory configuration. The HONOR Pad X6 has a 9.7-inch display with a 1280×800 resolution and gets a single 3/32GB memory configuration.
Details on pricing and availability are yet to be announced.
