Armari, the UK-based PC system integrator, has just launched the Magnetar X64T professional workstation powered by the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X.
The Armari Magnetar X64T has a custom-designed chassis and FWL processor cooling solution to maximize the performance of the Threadripper 3990X processor. The workstation allows the processor to run up to 4.1GHz sustained on all 64-cores.
The system integrator claims that the FWL cooling in the Magnetar offers more than double the cooling capacity of the best AIO currently available in the market
The optimizations are expected to yield a new record-setting result in the official Specworkstation v3.0.4 benchmark. The benchmark is designed to test all aspects of a workstation, including the processor, graphics, I/O, and memory bandwidth.
The AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X was announced at CES 2020 and boasts 64 Cores and 12 Threads in a single socket. It also has 256MB of Cache and Boosts Frequencies up to 4.3GHz out of the box.
