Right on schedule, POCO has just announced its new mid-range contender. POCO X3 NFC is the world’s first smartphone to run on the new Snapdragon 732G SoC and is equipped with the company’s new LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, which reduces temperature by up to 6 degrees.
POCO X3 NFC has a 6.67-inch HDR10 Dot Drop display with FHD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Its DynamicSwitch feature can automatically adjust the refresh rate depending on the scenario to help save battery. Under the hood is 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, expandable using a microSD card.
The device is Widevine L1 certified, which means HD quality for Netflix and Prime Video will always be available to you.
For imaging, it has a 64MP Sony IMX682 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide unit, and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. Camera features include a Pro Mode, AI Skyscaping 3.0 which basically adds effects to the sky (stars, aurora, etc.), Kaleidoscope mode, and some filters that you can use to spice up your photos – Gold Vibes and Cyberpunk.
On the software side, you get MIUI 12 and POCO Launcher 2.0. Game Turbo 3.0 offers a bunch of optimizations for FPS drops, sound, and network while letting you choose from different voices to try and trick your opponents. The company guarantees three years of consistent system updates.
Other notable features include IP53 Splash Proofing, a Headphone Jack, NFC, an IR Blaster, a Z-Axis Linear Motor that offers 150+ vibration types for different scenarios, and Dual Stereo Speakers which clean themselves in one-tap, thanks to the Dust Blaster feature.
POCO also debuted a couple of external coolers for the X3 NFC in collaboration with Black Shark – the Fun Cooler and Fun Cooler Pro.
POCO X3 NFC packs a 5,160mAh battery with 33W fast-charging. That means 0 to 100% in 65 minutes. It comes in two colors – Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue.

POCO X3 NFC will be available at early bird prices from September 9 to 10 via Xiaomi’s Official Store in Shopee.
