realme has just officially announced the realme X7 series – realme X7 and X7 Pro in China today alongside an affordable 5G device – realme V3.
realme X7
The vanilla version of the realme X7 series debuts the latest Mediatek Dimensity 800U SoC. The chipset itself is built on the 7nm process with two big Cortex A76 cores running at 2.4GHz. It has a Mali-G57 GPU in tow. The new chip is accompanied by 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The phone is built around a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 180Hz sampling rate. The 32MP front camera is housed in the punch hole in its display. Along with this is the fingerprint scanner underneath the panel.
Around the back, there are four cameras comprised of a 64MP main, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP B/W sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. These are housed in a rectangle camera module on the top left side of the phone.
It gets its juice from a 4300mAh cell with 65W fast charging support via a USB-C port. In addition, the X7 has dual SIM card slots with 5G network support.
The realme X7 is available in white, blue, and a gradient color with “DARE TO LEAP” on the right side of the phone. It is priced at CNY 1,799 and scheduled for its first flash sale on September 7.
realme X7 Pro
The realme X7 Pro, on the other hand, has a Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ with a vapor chamber for heat dissipation which is said to lower the core temperature by up to 10 degrees Celsius. As far as memory and storage go, the Pro variant has 6/8GB RAM and 126/256GB internal storage.
The X7 Pro has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It shares the same 32MP front camera tucked in the punch hole.
The rear cameras are the same as its vanilla sibling with the 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad camera setup. However, it does have a slightly bigger battery at 4500mAh.
The realme X7 Pro retains the “DARE TO LEAP” gradient color but comes alongside Dark Blue and Pearl White. As far as price goes, the Pro version is available in three variants – a 6/128GB option for CNY 2,199, an 8/128GB combination for CNY 2,399, and CNY 3,199 for the top-specced 8/256GB.
The Pro version of the realme X7 series is available for pre-order with it being available starting September 7.
realme V3 5G
Lastly, the realme V3 5G which is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset. This is coupled with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.
The affordable 5G device has a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with a waterdrop notch for its 8MP front shooter.
Its fingerprint scanner is found at the back along with its triple cameras. The three cameras are in a square camera module along with the LED flash. A 13MP sensor sits at the helm of the triple cameras. It is accompanied by two 2MP lenses, one for macro and the other for portrait shots
The V3 5G gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery pack with 18W fast charging support via USB-C. It also features a 3.5mm audio jack.
As far as color options go, the realme V3 5G comes in Blue or White. The 6/64GB variant goes for CNY 999, while the 6/128GB combination is available for CNY 1,399. The highest variant with 8/128GB is priced at CNY 1,599.
The most affordable variant will be available in the market starting September 9, while the other two will arrive on September 19. Pre-orders have begun for all three.
