Apart from the Mate 40 series, Huawei also debuted a new lineup of smart devices. These include the Gentle Monster x Huawei Eyewear II, FreeBuds Studio, and Sound speakers.
Before we get to the bigger accessories, the company announced a Ring Light case for the Mate 40 series in addition to the Huawei M-Pen 2. They’re priced at EUR 69 and EUR 99, respectively.
Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2
The Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 is a new design to the Watch GT 2. It has a ceramic case, titanium body, and sapphire glass. The band is made from anti-corrosive titanium.
It keeps the 2 weeks battery life, 100+ workout modes, sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and SpO2 monitoring.
The premium Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT 2 will go for EUR 695.
Huawei FreeBuds Studio headphones
The company also introduced its FreeBuds Studio headphones. The headphones have a 48kHz wide frequency 4-layer diaphragm driver. They also offer up to 40dB Active Noise Cancellation.
The headphones have a 6-mic matrix which helps improve call quality. They also feature dual antennas for 360-degree signal coverage. Speaking of connection, the FreeBuds Studio can connect to two devices simultaneously.
They have touch controls in the cups as well with a double-tap to play/pause music or answer/end a call, swipe up and down to lower and increase volume, and forward and back to skip/go back to a song. It is said to offer 24 hours of battery life.
The Huawei FreeBuds Studio is available in gold and black and will go for EUR 299.
Gentle Monster x Huawei Eyewear II
Huawei also announced the Gentle Monster x Huawei Eyewear II, the second iteration of the company’s collaboration eyewear. They’re available in sunglasses – Smart Lang and Smart Myma, and optical glasses – Smart Havana and Smart Kubo.
The new glasses have a larger diaphragm which is said to offer better sound quality. It also features an inverse sound field to reduce sound leakage of up to 12dB.
They also feature touch controls like double-tapping the right side to play/pause music or answer/end a call or the right side to wake up the voice assistant or answer/end a call.
The new eyewear is said to offer 5 hours of continuous music and 42 hours of connected standby and take 1.5 hours to fully charge in the case.
The Gentle Monster x Huawei Eyewear II starts at EUR 299.
Huawei Sound
Lastly, the Huawei Sound which is the company’s second speaker made in partnership with Devialet. The Sound is a smaller speaker than the Sound X.
The Sound has a 4-inch Woofer and two Push-Push Passive Units inside. It offers 360-degree surround sound via three full-range speakers distributed evenly.
The new speakers adopt Devialet’s SPACE technology which offers a wider soundstage. In addition, it supports HD Bluetooth LDAC, 3.5 AUX-in, and Huawei Share.
The Huawei Sound is available for EUR 199.
