OnePlus 8T with Snapdragon 865, 120Hz Display, and 65W Fast-Charging Now Official

OnePlus 8T - All ColorsThe OnePlus 8T finally made its official debut, boasting a number of nifty upgrades such as Warp Charge 65, a larger battery, a 120Hz refresh rate, and more.

OnePlus 8T uses a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with an A+ score from DisplayMate and packs a Snapdragon 865 SoC along with a larger vapor chamber for better thermals, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For imaging, you get a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP Ultra-Wide unit, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. OnePlus has also made improvements to the Nightscape mode and added a Super Stable mode for better video stabilization.

OnePlus 8T is one of the first devices to launch with Android 11 out of the box There were some tweaks to the software, including a new Dark Mode, and other improvements to the camera app. It’s also the first with an Always-on Display Mode along with 11 pre-loaded designs.

The device gets a small but welcome upgrade to its battery – from 4,300mAh to 4,500mAh, and Warp Charge 65 means a full charge in just 39 minutes. The power brick supports USB PD with an output of up to 45W. The phone still misses out on wireless charging.

OnePlus 8T has two colors – Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver. It will retail for INR43,000 and INR46,000 for the 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants, respectively.
