According to a report by Canalys, realme has managed to top the charts as the Number 1 smartphone brand in the Philippines in terms of market share in Q3 of 2020.
This is an amazing feat for such a young brand, managing to capture 25% of the market, and with a staggering 531% annual growth.
Our best guess is that this is because the brand has managed to get the right influencers, and the consistent push to promote its products, in addition to having products that offer great value for the money.
Next in line is vivo which recently launched its new V20 series, getting 21% market share and 103% growth, followed by Samsung with 18% market share and 14% growth, OPPO, and then Xiaomi.
Speaking of realme, the brand is continuously expanding its offerings in the country with the launch of the Narzo 20, aimed at those who want decent performance and excellent battery life at reasonable price points.
