Redmi has just unveiled the Redmi Watch alongside the Redmi Note 9 series in China.
The Redmi Watch features a 1.4-inch rectangular display with 320×320 resolution and 2.5D glass. The watch is available in three colors – black, white, and navy blue and comes with matching silicone straps. The straps though also come in pink and green.
Through the Mi Fit app, you get over 120+ watch faces in addition to standard sport modes. The watch pairs via Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and has NFC. It is also rated to be waterproof up to 50m.
The battery of the Watch is said to offer 7 days of normal use and 12 days with power-saving mode. It charges through a proprietary cradle and takes 2 hours to fully charge.
The Redmi Watch retails for CNY 299 and for a limited time for CNY 269 starting December 1 in China. It is speculated that the watch will be available internationally as the Xiaomi Watch Lite. We’ll just have to wait for the official announcement from the company.
