vivo is set to announce the vivo X60 series on December 29 after the company made the announcement on Weibo. The company will also be announcing its partnership with the German optical company Zeiss with the X60 series phones being the first vivo phones to sport the Zeiss lenses.
The new X-series will also be the first to pack Exynos 1080 chipset, the latest 5nm SoC from Samsung in addition to running on OriginOS out of the box. The latter is vivo’s revamped OS on top of Android.
The X60 series is expected to have three phones like the X50 family. Based on the poster, the device in the middle is the vanilla X60 due to the lack of a periscope lens. The X60 Pro and Pro+ are expected to share the same camera design but speculated to differ in the sensor under the lens.
The vivo X60 series will be launched in China but whether or not they’ll be available in other markets is still unknown.
