vivo has quietly unveiled the vivo Y52s in China. It’s the latest 5G midrange device from the company.
The vivo Y52s features a 6.58-inch FHD+ resolution panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Housed in the waterdrop notch of the display is the phone’s 8MP front camera. Rounding out the optics are a 48MP main shooter coupled with a 2MP depth sensor found in a rectangular module in the back with the LED flash.
The new vivo Y-series device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset partnered with 6GB0/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
The Y52s will boot with Funtouch OS 10.5 on top of Android 10. Its fingerprint scanner is found on the right side embedded with the power button while the 3.5mm audio jack is found at the bottom next to the USB-C port.
The vivo Y52s is available in three colors – gray, white, and gradient. It will retail for CNY 1,598 for the 6GB/128GB variant and CNY 1,798 for the 8GB/128GB model.
