Xiaomi is ending 2020 with the launch of its newest flagship. The Mi 11 is the first device to be powered by the new Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch WQHD+ AMOLED quad curved DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1,500 nits peak brightness, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Underneath, it packs up to 12GB of LPDDR5 3200MHz RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s no option for a micro SD card.
For optics, there’s a 108MP wide-angle camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 5MP telemacro lens. At the front, you get a 20MP snapper in a punch hole.
Other features include VC LiquidCool Technology, an in-screen fingerprint sensor with heart rate monitoring, an IR Blaster, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual 5G connectivity (at Sub-6 GHz networks, and stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon.
The device runs MIUI 12.5 and packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 55W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. While the China standard version won’t come with a charger, users can still opt for a bundle version that comes with a 55W GaN Charger. Both will sell for the same price.
For color choices, there’s Midnight Gray, Horizon Blue, Frost White, Lilac Purple, and Honey Beige.
