ASUS is starting 2021 with the launch of the ZenBook 14 UX435EG that’s equipped with Intel’s Tiger Lake CPUs and the company’s signature ScreenPad for enhanced productivity.
The ZenBook 14 UX435EG weighs in at just 1.19kg and is only 16.9mm thin, making it highly compact and easy to carry around – a perfect tool for the modern on-the-go lifestyle. It comes in two colors – Pine Gray and Lilac Mist.
The device has a 14-inch 1080p display with 2.6mm 4-sided NanoEdge bezels, a screen-to-body ratio of 92%, and up to 400 nits of brightness. Under its shell is an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, an NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU with 2GB of GDDR6 VRAM, up to 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, and up a 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD.
For ports, you get 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with full range 5-20V charging, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card reader.
One of its key features is the ScreenPad with ScreenXpert 2.0 software which lets you easily switch applications using App Switcher, or browse through open tab apps on ScreenPad using the App Navigator. Using the Link to MyASUS software, you’ll also be able to access your smartphone’s screen and answer calls directly from the ZenBook 14. You’ll be able to create task groups that allow you to open multiple apps with one click.
ASUS ZenBook 14 UX435EG packs a 63Wh battery that delivers up to 12 hours of uptime, plus a fast-charge feature that tops-up the battery from 0% to 60% in just under 49 minutes. What’s more, the device can be used with a wide range of standard USB-C chargers (5V-20V) thanks to its USB-C Easy Charge feature. Enjoy ultra-fast charging with any Power Delivery certified charger, including the 65W adapter that comes with the device.
It also features AI Noise-Cancelling Technology which uses machine learning to isolate unwanted noise from speech. ClearVoice for both microphone and speaker helps ensure that you’ll hear what everyone else is saying, and that they’ll hear you. Multi-Presenter Mode also optimizes the microphone quality from different positions for a great experience when doing conference calls.
ZenBook 14 UX435EG comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Office 2019 apps and features ASUS WiFi Master Technology which includes ASUS WiFi SmartConnect to automatically choose the best Wi-Fi source, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0
