HONOR CEO, George Zhao has cleared the air regarding its return to a partnership with Google after separating from Huawei last year. Zhao mentioned in an interview with South China Morning Post that HONOR and Google are already in talks.
HONOR had previously mentioned that it has already confirmed partnerships with Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and MediaTek. The clear major name missing on the list was Google and has raised quite a lot of questions and speculations.
What isn’t clear though is if the recently announced HONOR V40 will be released globally with Google services. We’ll just have to wait and see.
