HONOR Partners with Qualcomm, MediaTek, and More

Along with the launch of the HONOR V40 5G, the now independent company has officially partnered with several major chip suppliers.

The company’s CEO, George Zhao revealed that HONOR has already signed partnerships with both Qualcomm and MediaTek, while a report by Reuters points to deals with AMD, Intel, Micron, Microsoft, Samsung, SK Hynix, and Sony.

He also revealed that the company aims to move into the middle and high-tier segment and increase its presence in other markets overseas and it’ll continue to invest in the IoT market employing its own take on Huawei’s strategy.
