After the 3060Ti, curiosity has spiked as to whether NVIDIA will release a 30 series version of the very popular 1050Ti.
Well, the good news is that it looks like things are pretty much headed that way, as a page in Lenovo’s website lists the RTX 3050, 3050 Ti, and the 3060 as part of the specifications for one of its products – The Lenovo Legion R5 (or at least that’s what the page says).
According to the list, the RTX 3050 will have 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM, while the Ti variant will get 6GB. The 3060 non-Ti variant, on the other hand, oddly shows 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM, which is more than what the 3060 Ti and even the 3080 have (The latter boasts GDDR6X VRAM though).
As for ports, the list shows that the 3050 has a DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a DVI port. The Ti variant and the 3060 have three DisplayPort 1.4a and an HDMI 2.1 port.
Now, NVIDIA has not confirmed the existence of these cards, but an upcoming event set for January 12, 2021, may just be the stage where they’ll be officially announced.
