Prior to the launch of the Galaxy S21 series, Samsung is set to debut the SoC that will run its newest flagship smartphones, presumably the Exynos 2100, in a separate event set for January 12 at 11 PM KST.
The Exynos 2100 is rumored to utilize an ARM X1 Prime that runs at 2.91GHz, four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.81GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.21GHz.
According to a tipster, the new SoC scores 1,108 points for single-core performance and 3,963 points for multi-core workload. These are very competitive when compared to the Snapdragon 888 which can score 1,135 and 3,794 points, respectively.
