The Ultra variant is usually where Samsung puts a lot of its top-end features – skyrocketing numbers, the most capable cameras, and more. It’s the device that’s reserved for those who are willing to pay the most premium price. For the S21 series, it’s the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.
Meet The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
The most beefed-up variant of the Korean tech giant’s flagship lineup sports a 6.8-inch WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The device also boasts an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood is a 5nm SoC that delivers up to 20% better CPU performance, up to 35% better GPU performance, and two times faster AI processors. You get up to 16GB of RAM and a choice between 256GB, and 512GB of storage.
For optics, you get an upgraded 108MP wide-angle camera with OIS and Phase Detection. There’s a laser autofocus module, a 12MP ultra-wide unit, and two 10MP telephoto shooters with OIS – one 10x and the other, a 3x. Upfront is a 40MP snapper. For more on its cameras, click here.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G also boasts S-Pen support (The S-Pen from the Tab and Note series will work, but you can purchase a new one along with a case). It runs OneUI 3.1 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired and wireless fast-charging and Wireless PowerShare.
