ASUS has officially announced that the ASUS ROG Phone 5 will be unveiled on March 10 in an online launch event and begins at 7PM Philippine Time. Yes, the company has also confirmed that the new ROG Phone is named ROG Phone 5, skipping the number 4.
The company hasn’t revealed any specs of writing this though. However, a Geekbench listing reveals that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and run on Android 11 out of the box. In addition, it is said to be available with either 8GB or 16GB RAM.
In addition, according to the TENAA database, the ROG Phone 5 with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, dual-cell 6000mAh battery, and 5G support. While its 3C certification listing adds that the battery will support up to 65W fast charging.
This refers to the specs of the ASUS ROG Phone 5 with the model number I005DA. Another variant is also listed under the number I005DB and is expected to be released in the global markets.
