Huawei previously confirmed that it has rolled out the beta version of HarmonyOS to some of its devices, and at its recent launch event, the company has revealed that it’s also rolling out to its flagship devices starting April 2021 with the Huawei Mate X2 being the first to get it.
In addition to being an Android alternative, the OS is considered as an infrastructure for smart IoT devices and Smart TVs.
If the Huawei P50 series launches in a couple of months, ans is also expected to get HarmonyOS.
The company is also working hard to improve the App Gallery market which as of 2020, has up to 500 million active users and expanding further.
