Samsung has recently announced that the latest One UI 3.1 update is coming to the Galaxy S20 series (Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, and S20 FE), Galaxy Note20 series (Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Note20 Ultra), and the Galaxy Z series (Galaxy Z Fold2 and Galaxy Z Flip series).

The One UI update launched with the Galaxy S21 series and brings new camera capabilities for capturing and editing photos and video in addition to some quality of life and security features.

One of the unique camera features of the One UI 3.1 includes the Single Take feature which captures a variety of still and video formats simultaneously with just one tap.

The UI update also introduces the new Object Eraser tool, an intelligent photo editing tool that can be used to cut out unwanted parts of your photos effortlessly without manual editing.

The new UI update also has an improved touch autofocus sand autoexposure controller, making adjusting the focus and brightness of your photos easier. You can now just swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to edit the brightness of your image before you’ve taken the shot.

It also brings the new Multi Mic Recording feature, which when in Pro Video mode, allows you to simultaneously record audio through both your phone and a connected Bluetooth device. This comes in handy for vloggers narrating a shot where you want to be heard from afar or a musician wanting to record the sound of your voice and instrument.

One UI 3.1 also brings a new Eye Comfort Shield mode which automatically adjusts the blue light based on the time of day. It increases the warmer tones at night to help fall asleep easier at night and increase the blue light during the day or you can personalize the schedule yourself.

Private Share is also introduced by the One UI update. The new feature lets you control who is allowed access to the content you send and how long it is available. An Auto Switch feature is also introduced which allows you to switch between Galaxy devices when listening to your favorite songs or podcast or even watching videos.
