OPPO has just received its IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority) certification for a wireless charger with the model number OAWV02. The first iteration had the model number OAWV01 which makes this one a possible successor.
Not much else is revealed about the new device, but it’s expected to offer faster-charging speeds in addition to design improvements.
The OPPO AirVOOC is the company’s first wireless charging device and claimed to be able to charge a device with 4000mAh battery to full in 56 minutes. It was also said to give 1 hour of standby time with 5 minutes of charging and packs air-cooling technology as well as Qi wireless charging standards making it viable for devices and devices with wireless charging support.
We’ll have to wait and see for an official announcement from the company or maybe wait for more details on the wireless charger but this is pretty exciting news.
