Following its launch in the Philippines last week, the OPPO Reno5 series is now available for pre-order until February 19, 2021 via OPPO concept stores, partner dealers, Shopee, and Lazada.
OPPO Reno5 series introduces industry-first features, such as the AI Mixed Portrait, which adds double exposure effect for artistic flair, as well as Dual-View Video, which captures videos from the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
OPPO Reno5 4G and 5G are equipped with a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the 4G variant packs a Snapdragon 720G, while the 5G model runs on a Snapdragon 765G SoC. Both have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For optics, there’s a 64MP main camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a pair of 2MP sensors (macro and mono). Upfront, the 4G model has a 44MP unit, while the 5G variant uses a 32MP sensor. Both also feature the Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System for superior portrait video effects, combining creativity and quality.
Reno5 series runs on ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11. As for battery capacity, it’s 4,310mAh and 4,300mAh for the 4G and 5G models, respectively. The former supports 50W Flash Charge while the latter supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge.
During the pre-order period, customers may visit any of the authorized dealers to reserve a unit. A down payment (not refundable) of PhP1,000 is required to complete the reservation process. Once done, the customer will then be given a pre-order card, which is to be presented upon claiming their order at the store where they reserved their unit.
Claiming of reserved units along with the free Kuyou Smart Watch starts on February 20. For each Reno5 series unit purchased, customers are entitled to one free Kuyou Smart Watch.
