OPPO has officially launched its newest mid-rangers in the Philippines – OPPO Reno5 5G and Reno5 4G. Both now available for pre-order via OPPO concept and online stores, partner dealers, Shopee, and Lazada.
OPPO Reno5 4G and 5G boast a 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the 4G variant packs a Snapdragon 720G, while the 5G model runs on a Snapdragon 765G SoC. Both have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For optics, there’s a 64MP main camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a pair of 2MP sensors (macro and mono). Upfront, the 4G model has a 44MP unit, while the 5G variant uses a 32MP sensor. Both feature OPPO’s Full Dimension Fusion (FDF) Portrait Video System for superior portrait video effects, combining creativity and quality.
Reno5 4G also features AI Mixed Portrait which brings the double exposure video effect to a smartphone for an artistic effect, while the Reno5 5G exclusively offers the Portrait Beautification Video feature which lets the phone identify your ethnicity, sex, and age, and then personalizes the beautification process accordingly, helping you to look your best in your videos.
Both devices feature Dual-View Video which allows you to capture videos from both the front and rear cameras simultaneously. It combines you and the subject you’re shooting in the same video frame at one.
Reno5 series runs ColorOS 11.1 on top of Android 11. As for battery capacity, it’s 4,310mAh and 4,300mAh for the 4G and 5G models, respectively. The former supports 50W Flash Charge while the latter supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 Flash Charge.
