The realme Buds Air 2 was spotted on the realme Link app ahead of any official announcement. The successor to the Buds Air was listed in the app’s Audio section under the Add Device option alongside current offerings from the company.
The listing also revealed the look of the realme Buds Air 2 which looks similar to the Buds Air Pro. The image in the listing shows the new TWS in black but it is also expected to arrive with more colorways.
In addition, leakster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter shared a teaser poster revealing Active Noise Cancellation on the upcoming TWS earphones. This is reportedly confirmed to be related to the Buds Air 2, according to GSMArena. If this is true, the Buds Air 2 will be the third TWS earphones from the company to feature ANC.
Not much else is known about the earphones but an FCC certification revealed that its charging case will pack a 400mAh battery.
VP of realme and CEO of realme India and Europe, Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the Buds Air 2 will be unveiled in Q1 2021 in an interview with GSMArena which means, we should see it soon enough.
