realme has previewed the realme GT 5G Bumblebee Leather Variant and its strategy to launch two flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Shanghai, China.
The GT 5G Bumblebee Leather Variant will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset and features a stainless steel VC cooling system for improved heat dissipation and better performance.
The new device, according to the company, is based on the concept of GT sports cars and the leather variant will have a dual-tone leather design using two different kinds of materials. The rear panel of the device will be covered with second-generation vegan leather while the black stripe on the back will have a glossy “race track” finish.
In addition, the company also announced its Dual-flagship Strategy wherein it will launch two flagships under two different series.
One will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8xx series flagship SoC and focus on performance, while the other will pack a MediaTek Dimensity series 5G chipset and center on camera technology.
The realme GT 5G fits the performance flagship with its Snapdragon 888 SoC, but nothing is known about the company’s camera flagship though.
