Xiaomi closed out 2020 with the release of the Mi 11 and there are speculations that two more phones will join the Mi 11 – the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite and 11 Pro. The Mi 11 Lite is expected to be less powerful and will be offered at a more affordable price point.
According to a Chinese leakster, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite will feature an OLED panel with a punch hole for a single front camera, a Qualcomm SM7350 chipset, and a 64MP main camera joined by a 5x telephoto shooter in the back.
What’s most interesting about this is that currently, there is no SM7350 chipset from Qualcomm which could mean that this is a yet-to-be-announced one. Rumors point to a Snapdragon 755G built on a 5nm process.
The 64MP main shooter is a downgrade from the 108MP camera on the Mi 11 but will be joined by a periscope lens. A telephoto sensor is far from a cheap component, but the company has used a 5x telephoto camera before in the Mi Note 10, which is considered an upper mid-range device.
