AYA NEO is a handheld gaming PC powered by a 7nm process AMD Ryzen 5 4500U APU with AMD Radeon Graphics and 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM at 4266MHz. It also has a 7-inch display, either 512GB or 1TB of M.2 2280 NVMe storage, and a 12,300mAh battery split across three cells.
The device supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 thanks to an Intel AX200 wireless module and comes with 3 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
AYA NEO generated over USD 1,000,000 in funding in its first 24 hours on Indiegogo. It has sold out of its Super Early Bird and its 500GB SSD configuration, leaving the 1TB option or the Ultimate Package left. However, AYA is considering adding additional perks as it running low on the 1TB variant as well. The company has yet to announce what the perks would be exactly if there will be.
The company is expecting to ship the AYA NEO to backers in May 2021.
The device handles even Triple-A titles as seen in the video below. The games that were played in the video include Witcher 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and even Cyberpunk 2077.
