Meizu has just unveiled the Meizu 18 series – the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro in China. The two new devices are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and up to 12GB of RAM.
Meizu 18 Pro
The Meizu 18 Pro is the bigger of the two with a 6.7-inch 3200x1440p Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. In its punch hole is its 44MP front snapper in addition to the Qualcomm 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner underneath its panel.
The front is curved on all four sides – 50-degrees on the left and right side and 5-degrees on the top and bottom.
Around the back, the Pro rocks a quad-camera setup with a 50MP Samsung GN1 main sensor with f/1.9 aperture alongside a 32MP Sony IMX 616 ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP 3x zoom camera, and a 3D ToF sensor.
It packs 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage coupled with the Snapdragon 888. It also features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 30W wired charging and 10W reverse-wireless charging.
The Meizu 18 Pro is available in White, Blue, and Grey colorways.

The Meizu 18, on the other hand, has a 6.2-inch 3200x1440p AMOLED panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also features the same quad-curved front glass as its Pro sibling.
It packs a 20MP shooter up front and has a triple rear with a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP 3x telephoto camera.
Under the hood along with the Snapdragon 888, the vanilla Meizu 18 comes with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It gets its juice from a 4000mAh battery pack with 36W fast charging support.
The Meizu 18 will come in White, Blue, and Purple colorways.
Price and availability
The base 8/128GB option of the Meizu 18 is priced at CNY 4,399, while the 8/256GB variant goes for CNY 4,699, and the top specced 12/256GB configuration is priced at CNY 4,999.
The Meizu 18 Pro has the same 8/128GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB memory options, priced at CNY 4,999, CNY 5,499, and CNY 5,999, respectively.
The Meizu 18 series can be pre-ordered in China now and will be available starting March 8.
