realme has confirmed that the realme 8 series will be launching in India on March 24. The company revealed this in a teaser video taking on a ‘Drift Challenge’. In addition, a recent tweet from the company reveals the details of the launch event and that the series, or at least one of the devices, will feature a 108MP main rear camera.
Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted official-looking posters. They reveal that the realme 8 Pro packs a 108MP quad-camera setup and 50W SuperDart fast charging, while the realme 8 gets a 64MP-led quad camera and a Super AMOLED panel. The Super AMOLED panel is expected to be a shared feature between the two phones.
The posters also reveal the design of the phones which looks to be accurate as shown in the recent tweet from the company.
The realme 8 series are said to have a Snapdragon 720G chipset for the vanilla version and a Snapdragon 732G chipset on the Pro version. They are also expected to have high refresh rates and said to come with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The realme 8 is rumored to come in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black colorways. The realme 8 Pro is said to come in Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow. The last of which was teased by realme India CEO Madhav Sheth on Twitter.
