realme has just launched the realme GT but at the event, realme Vice President Xu Qi has teased an additional member of the GT series. This is expected to be the realme GT Neo which comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888.

The Dimensity 1200 was announced early this year alongside the Dimensity 1100. The Dimensity 1200 is made with the 6nm process with a 1+3+4 octa-core configuration. The sole core is a 3Ghz Cortex-A78 core, the rest are three 2.6GHz Cortex-A78 cores and four 2GHz Cortex-A55 cores. It also has a Mali-G77MC9 GPU which supports up to 168Hz refresh rate and cameras up to 200MP.

Not much else is known about the realme GT Neo but it is expected to be released soon. This is backed by the information from MediaTek that mentions a device from the realme to launch with the new chipset in late March or early April.
