Xiaomi just held its Mega Launch event yesterday wherein they launched the new Mi 11 series devices in addition to the Mi Smart Band 6 and Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro.
Mi Smart Band 6
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 features a 1.56-inch AMOLED display with rounded corners, a 152×486 resolution, and peak brightness of 450 nits. It has 50% more display than the previous Smart Bands. It is also protected by tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating.
The Smart Band 6 introduces SpO2 tracking and still keeps track of your sleep and monitors your heart rate. It has 30 fitness modes with six auto detected modes namely – walking, treadmill, cycling, rowing machine, and elliptical.
The Smart Band 6 features a 125mAh LiPo battery which is said to offer 14-day of battery life. It charges via a snap-on charger just like its predecessors. In addition, it is water-resistant to up to 5ATM.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 comes with silicone straps in Black, Orange, Yellow, Olive, Ivory, and Blue. It will be available in China for CNY 230, while the NFC edition will go for CNY 280. It was also announced in Europe for EUR 45.
Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro, on the other hand, can project an image 80-inch to 120-inch with a maximum brightness of 1300nits at 1080p resolution and HDR10 imagery.
It runs Android TV 9.0 and comes with Netflix pre-installed and has a dedicated button on the remote control. Under the hood, Amlogic T972-H powers the projector along with 16GB of eMMC storage.
As far as ports go, it has an HDMI 2.0 port, HDMI 1.0 port with ARC, an AV input, two USB 2.0 ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, a S/PDIF jack, and an Ethernet port. It also connects to the internet via Wi-Fi 5 which also allows you to use Google Assistant to control your other smart home gadgets.
The Smart Projector 2 Pro has two 10W speakers that support Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. It measures in at 215x201x143mm and weighs 3.7kg.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 Pro will sell for EUR 1,000 with an early bird price of EUR 900.
