ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has just announced the ROG Strix XF 120 cooling fan. It is a 120mm 4-pin pulse-width modulation (PWM) cooling fan that operates at no higher than 22.5 dB, offering an ultra-quiet acoustic profile.
The ROG Strix XF 120 delivers up to 62.5 cubic feet per minute of airflow and up to 3.07mm H2O of static pressure. The combination allows flexibility, whether to be used for case cooling or static pressure applications like as a radiator or CPU cooler fan.
It also has an operating range of 250 to 1800 rpm and automatically turns off when to 0% PWM duty cycle for an ultralow noise profile when handling lighter workloads.
The fan bearing features a 360° Magnetic-Levitation (MagLev) technology which stabilizes the rotor as it spins and prevents from slanting or swaying. In addition, it minimizes friction, reduces noise, and protects the fan from wear and tear over time. It is said to offer an extended lifespan of up to 400,000 hours.
The angle and curvature of the frame struts are designed to direct and channel airflow in a unidirectional stream which minimizes the turbulence as the focused airflow enhances static pressure. The minimized han hub of the ROG Strix FX 120 also enables longer fan blades and enlarges the airflow channel.
ROG Strix XF 120 price and availibility
The ASUS ROG Strix XF 120 will be available in the Philippines in Q2 of 2021 and is priced at PHP 1,620.
