Microsoft has just unveiled the Surface Laptop 4, the successor to the Surface Laptop 3. The Surface Laptop 4 comes with new AMD Ryzen 4000 or Intel Core 11th generation processors.
Surface Laptop 4 spec rundown
The Surface Laptop 4 offers the choice of an AMD Ryzen 5 4680U, an AMD Ryzen 7 4980U, an Intel Core i5-1135G7, or an Intel Core i7-1185G7 powering the laptop. The two AMD chips feature Radeon Graphics while the two Intel processors feature Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
As far as memory options go, it comes with 8GB/16GB/32GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB SSD storage. It features 1x USB-C, 1 x USB-A, a 3.5mm headphone, 1x Surface Connect ports. In addition, they have a 720p webcam, dual far-field mics, stereo speakers with Atmos Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and Bluetooth 5.0.
The 13.5-inch model comes with a 2256×1504 resolution, while the 15-inch model has a 2496×1664 resolution. Both variants have a 3:2 aspect ratio and 10-point multi-touch with support for the optional Surface Pen.
Surface Laptop 4 price and availability
The 13.5-inch model is available in Ice Blue and Platinum with an Alcantara finish, while the 15-inch variant comes in Platinum and Matte Black with a standard metal body.
With so many options to mix and match from CPU, RAM, and storage alone, Microsoft offers 22 preset selections. The AMD CPU-powered variant starts at USD 1,000 while the Intel-powered models start at USD 1,300. It will be on sale starting April 15.
