OnePlus has announced on its official Weibo that it will unveil the OnePlus 9R – the affordable member of the OnePlus 9 series on April 15. The device was previously exclusive in India but will now make its debut in China.
The OnePlus 9R is said to be a high-quality flagship according to Pete Lau, co-founder and CEO of OnePlus. In addition, he claims that for its price tag, the device offers powerful performance and high-quality textural design.
The affordable OnePlus 9 series member is reported to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and be built around a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2400×1080 resolution. It is also said to have LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charge support.
The OnePlus 9R is expected to pack a 16MP Sony IMX 741 front camera and a 48MP IMX586 main rear lens accompanied by a 16MP IMX481 ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro lens, and a depth-of-field shooter.
