MediaTek, according to two separate reports, is going to be the first chipmaker to release a 4nm chipset with production to start either in Q4 2021 or the beginning of 2022. In addition, the reports mention that the company has already taken orders for major OEMs, namely OPPO, Xiaomi, Samsung, and vivo.
However, MediaTek has secured the 4nm order from TSMC at USD 80 per unit as compared to the USD 30 – 35 price range of the 5nm chipset.
The new 4nm chipset is said to to be able to challenge the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-series and will also reduce power consumption.
Nothing is official as of writing this so we’ll have to wait and see if MediaTek becomes the first to offer a 4nm chipset.

He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
