Sony has just announced two new 4K projectors perfect for aimed for home theater enthusiasts – the VPL-VW1025ES and the VPL-VW325ES. Both share the same X1 processor as those found in high-end BRAVIA TVs.
The company mentions that thanks to the X1 chip, the new projectors have Dynamic HDR Enhancement in addition to Reality Creation. The latter is a suite that enhances detail in 4K and also upscales FHD to 2K content. In addition, the company insists that the hardware results in edge-to-edge image quality.
The VPL-VW1025ES is a 2000-lumen laser projector and features an All-Range Crisp Focus or ARC-F Lens with 18 elements made of glass. The VPL-VW325ES, on the other hand, is a 1500-lumen lamp projector.
Sony Price and availability
The VPL-VW1025ES is priced at USD 39,999, while the VPL-VW325ES will go for USD 5,499. They can be pre-ordered now but availability will depend on the location.
