Gigabyte has just unveiled its A7 X1 17-inch gaming laptop, an AMD-powered mid-range gaming laptop from the company.
The Gigabyte A7 X1 packs a 17-inch FHD resolution panel with a 72% NTSC color gamut and a 144Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Gigabyte A7 X1 has an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor with an integrated Vega 7 iGPU along with up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. It includes a 2.5-inch bay for SATA HDD/SSD in addition to two M.2 2280 slots that support one PCIe 3.0 lane each for up to a whopping 6 TB of storage.
Despite it featuring a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Max-Q, the company set the TGP to 140W.
The 17-inch Gigabyte laptop packs a 48.96Wh battery, which is considered pretty small for the size. It features an HD camera, supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, a 2.5Gb Ethernet port, 2×2 watt speakers, and an integrated mic. The rest of the ports include a 1x USB-A 2.0 port, 1x USB-a 3.2 Gen 1 port, 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen (DP 1.4 mode), HDMI 2.0, mini DisplayPort 1.4, 3.5mm combo jack, and a GbE jack.
The chassis of the laptop is on the bulkier side with a 32.4mm profile but only weighs in at 2.5kg.
The price and availability of the Gigabyte A7 X1 has yet to be announced by the company.
