Beats has just announced the Beats Studio Buds, its latest pair of true wireless in-ear earbuds.
The Studio Buds features active noise-cancelation and transparency mode. The former cancels background noise using microphones on the exterior, while the latter allows you to hear your surroundings using the same microphones.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t feature custom Apple silicon chips, which means they won’t support Apple Music’s spatial audio.
The new TWS will, however, still feature one-touch pairing for Apple and Android devices. For Android users, you’ll need to get the Beats app for firmware upgrades, audio customization, and voice assistant support. On Apple devices, everything is done natively through the OS.
The Buds offer 8 hours of battery with ANC on and 5 hours with transparency mode enabled. The charging case, on the other hand, provide two additional full charges. This gives the earbuds a total of 24 hours of use. The charging case tops up via a USB-C port and a 5-minute charge is said to give up to an hour of use.
The earbuds also have IPX4 rating, making them sweat and water resistance.
The Beats Studio Buds are available in Black, White, and Beats Red and priced at USD 150.
