Motorola has just launched the Motorola Defy, the first Defy phone since 2012. The new Defy is the first device from a partnership with UK-based rugged phone maker Bullitt Group.
The Motorola Defy has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with Corning Gorilla Victus for protection. It has a plastic body with a rugged design and features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Meanwhile, housed in a waterdrop notch is its 8MP front shooter
The company assures that the device can operate in temperatures that range from -25°C to +55°C. It is also said to be drop-proof of up to 1.8m but as long as it lands on the side or corner frame.
Around the back, it has a 48MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP macro shot and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Defy is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It packs a 5000mAh battery with 20W charging support. It runs on Android 11 with the Moto UX on top.
The Motorola Defy 2021 will be available in Europe and South America for EUR 325.
