realme has just introduced the realme GT 5G in the global market. The company unveiled the flagship in mid-March in China.
The global version is pretty much the same as the variant released in China. Meaning it’s built around 6.43-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.
Housed in the punch-hole in the upper left corner of its display is a 16MP front camera. Meanwhile around the back, it features a 64MP main rear camera joined by an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 2MP macro lens.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.
The flagship device draws power from a 4500mAh battery and supports 65W SuperDart Charge which is said to charge to full in 35 minutes.
The realme flagship supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6e. Additionally, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It runs on realme 2.0 based on Android 11 but the company has announced that it is working with Google to bring Android 12 as well.
Moreover, it has an exclusive GT mode which maximizes the performance of the device.
The realme GT 5G is available in Galactic Silver, Deep Sea Blue, and two-tone vegan leather 2.0 Dawn Yellow color options. The 8GB/128GB variant is priced at EUR 449 and the top-specced 12GB/256GB option goes for EUR 599.
