After teasing its launch on social media, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 10 5G in the Philippines, shaking the market with one of the most affordable 5G-ready devices available. The brand also launched the Redmi Note 10S, a competitively specced mid-range device powered by an Helio G95 SoC.
Redmi Note 10 5G
The Redmi Note 10 5G has a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dot Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with Dual 5G capability, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For optics, there’s a 48MP wide-angle camera and a pair of 2MP sensors for macro and depth. Upfront is an 8MP snapper.
It runs on MIUI 12 on top of Android 11 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast-charging via a USB-C port.
Redmi Note 10S
Redmi Note 10S sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and runs on an Helio G95 SoC. It’s got 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For imaging, you get a 64MP wide-angle camera, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a couple of 2MP sensors for depth and macro photography.
The phone is IP53 Splash-Proof Tested, runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11, and houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging via a USB-C port. It also features a Z-axis linear vibration motor, Dual Speakers, and Hi-Res Audio Certification.
Both devices feature NFC, an IR Blaster, Gorilla Glass 3 at the front, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and Availability
Redmi Note 10 5G is priced at PhP9,990 and PhP11,490 for the 4GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models, respectively. The Redmi Note 10S, on the other hand, comes in only one configuration – 8GB+128GB and is priced at PhP11,990.
Both smartphones will be available on Lazada, Shopee, Authorized Mi Stores, and official retailers starting June 5, 2021. Xiaomi will also offer a one-time free LCD screen replacement for the Redmi Note 10 5G within 6 months upon purchase.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is also set to be included in Smart’s list of 5G-Certified Devices and will be available soon on Smart Stores, and the Smart Online Store for 999/month under Signature Plan S with minimum cash out. It comes with Unli All-Net Texts and Calls and 5GB of data.
