LG has just announced the LG Tone Free DFP8W, its latest true-wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC). It also has a UVnano charging case that cleans the silicone tips and speaker mesh just like other members in the Tone Free series.
The earbuds have 8mm dynamic drivers developed with Meridian Audio. It also has three microphones with two dedicated for calls and the third used for ANC.
They pair via Bluetooth 5.2 with support for multi-pairing with up to five devices. Additionally, it supports Google Fast Pairing and Windows Swift Pair protocols.
The buds themselves are said to offer up to 6 hours with ANC and 10 hours without ANC. But with the charging case, these are extended to 14 hours with ANC and up to 24 hours with ANC turned off.
The new TWS earbuds are compatible with apt-X, AAC, and SBC codecs and have IPX4 certification.
