OnePlus has just unveiled the OnePlus Nord 2 5G and the OnePlus Buds Pro in an online event.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G is built around a 6.43-inch FullHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz fluid refresh rate. It has a punch hole on the upper left corner for its 32MP Sony IMX615 front camera.
Around the back is a trio of cameras led by a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor. It is capable of recording videos of up to 4K @ 30fps. Additionally, it has AI Photo and Video Enhancement, Nightscape Ultra, and Dual-View Video.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI, a custom-made chipset with improved AI features like the previously mentioned AI Photo and Video Enhancement. The processor is coupled with 6/8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB internal storage.
A 4500mAh battery provides juice for the device with support for Warp Charge 65. Additionally, it runs on OxygenOS 11.3 on top of Android 11. The Nord 2 also supports dual 5G SIM slots and Wi-Fi 6.
The company has also committed two Android updates and three years of security updates for the Nord 2 5G.
OnePlus Buds Pro
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Buds Pro features Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation up to 40dB. It features a three-microphone array that improves voice quality during calls.
The earbuds themselves provide 7 hours of playback with ANC off and 5 hours with ANC on. With the charging case, you get 31 hours of playback with ANC off and 23 hours with ANC on.
The case itself can be charged wired with Warp Charge that is said to offer 10 hours of playback with a 10-minute charge. It can also be charged wirelessly.
The Buds Pro connects via Bluetooth 5.2 and features OnePlus Fast Pair for OnePlus users. Meanwhile, for non-OnePlus users, there’s the HeyMelody app.
The new TWS earbuds also have an Audio ID that sets up as you connect them to your device for a custom sound. It also has 94ms ultra-low latency and an IP55 rating. The latter of which makes the buds sweat and dust resistant.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G and OnePlus Buds Pro price and availability
The OnePlus Nord 2 5G comes in two colorways – Gray Sierra and Blue Haze. The 8/128GB Blue Haze variant is available for PHP 21,990, while the 12/256GB Gray Sierra option is priced at PHP 25,990.
