Google Pixel 5a 5G Hardware Photos Leak, Rumored to Launch on August 17

A report from AndroidPolice reveals hands-on photos and a possible launch date for the Google Pixel 5a 5G.

The photos reveal a square camera module at the back with three cutouts which are believed to house two cameras and an LED flash. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner is also found in the back.

Meanwhile, on the side, we see a textured power button. The report doesn’t reveal the display of the device but we do go get to see the internal of the device. Based on previous rumors, the panel should be similar to the Pixel 4a with a punch-hole for the front camera in the upper left corner.

The new Pixel device is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. It will also draw power from a 4680mAh battery.

According to a separate report, the Pixel 5a 5G will have a USD 450 price tag and be available starting August 26. The company has yet to announce anything for the new Pixel device though, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
