Google has confirmed the existence of the Google Pixel 6 series comprised of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Additionally, the company revealed the devices’ availability, design, and some features.
The tech giant has confirmed that the duo will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, the UK, and the US via the Google store.
Its design is pretty much on point with the previous leaks with a horizontal black bar for the camera module that allows the device to have a two-tone design. They will feature a wide and ultrawide angle sensor. But the Pro variant adds a 4x telephoto lens to its camera module.
As for the features, the duo is confirmed to be powered by an in-house developed Tensor chipset and run on Android 12 out of the box.
The Pixel 6 will feature a 90Hz display while its Pro sibling bumps this up to 120Hz on a curved panel.
Google has yet to reveal the exact launch date of the new Pixel devices but it did say that they will be available in September or sometime in Q4 2021.
