OPPO has debuted a duo of new premium 5G capable mid-range smartphones in the Philippines, Reno6 5G and Reno6 Z 5G. Both will be available for pre-order starting August 7, 2021.

Reno6 5G
OPPO Reno6 5G makes use of the brand’s exclusive Reno Glow design which involves a unique glass etching process which in turn, creates a subtle shimmering effect to the matte glass, while also protecting it from fingerprints.
You get a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to a 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under its shell is a Dimensity 900 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It boast RAM Expansion technology which lets it convert part of its storage to virtual RAM when needed. The user will be given the option to choose from an additional 2GB, 3GB, or 5GB of expanded memory.
The phone can also detect the amount of light in its surroundings more accurately with the 360° light-sensing feature, which in turn, makes for a more accurate auto-brightness experience.
OPPO Reno6 5G runs ColorOS 11 on top of Android 11 and packs a 4,300mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging. Other features include Z-axis linear motors and a multi-cooling system.
Reno6 Z 5G
OPPO Reno6 Z 5G also uses the Reno Glow design, and also boasts a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, but sticks to the typical 60Hz refresh rate. It runs on a Dimensity 800U SoC backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Like the Vanilla Reno6, this also features RAM Expansion technology.
At the back of the phone is a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle unit, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 32MP snapper.
OPPO Reno6 Z 5G also runs ColorOS 11 on top of Android 11, but has a 4310mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 Other features include the multi-cooling system, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Pricing and Pre-Order
Available in Stellar Black and Aurora, OPPO Reno6 Z 5G and Reno6 5G are priced at PhP19,999 and PhP26,999, respectively.

Safe and hassle-free virtual appointment Smart Signature Plan with OPPO Reno6 Z 5G will be available to new subscribers as well as existing postpaid customers looking to add new lines or renew their plan.
An in-store purchase of the Reno6 Z 5G will also come with a free Q11 Smart Watch, and a pair of OPPO Enco Buds for the OPPO Reno6 5G.
Those who will purchase via Lazada and Shopee from August 14 to 28 can also get a free set of G25 Sports Earphones and an additional Q11 Smart Watch.
Reno6 Z 5G is available at 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18-month installment plans via Home Credit, while Reno6 5G is available at 9,12, 15, or 18-month installment plans. Both can also be purchased via major credit card bank partners for zero interest for up to 12 months.
