According to reports, realme is set to release the realme 8s which will debut the MediaTek Dimensity 810. If reports are to be believed, then this is an upgrade from the Dimensity 700 of the realme 8 5G.
As per OnLeaks, the realme 8s is said to share the same 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD panel and 5000mAh battery as the realme 8. It also adopts the same camera module albeit, the 8s is expected to feature a 64MP main camera instead of the 48MP of its vanilla sibling.
OnLeaks also released renders of the 8s that suggest that it will come in a new Lilac Purple colorway. Additionally, the Dimensity 810 is said to come with 6GB/8GB RAM. This is, again, a bump up from the vanilla which has a 4GB option.
The realme 8s is believed to sell for around INR 14,999 in India.

That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
