ZTE has announced that it will introduce the ZTE Axon 30 5G in the global market on September 9. The device boasts the company’s latest second-generation under-display camera.
The second-generation under-display camera is a 16MP front camera that disappears behind the display for a notch-less experience. The sensor itself has 1.12 µm pixels and grows to 2.24 µm after 4-in-1 binning.
The display has a 6.92-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a 10-bit matrix with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Around the back, it has a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood, the Axon 30 5G has a Snapdragon 870 chipset at the helm.
The 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage is said to be available in the US for USD 500, while the top-specced 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option will go for USD 600.
