The VG28UQL1A has a 1ms gray to gray (GTG) response time and features Display Stream Compression technology. It also has an Auto-Low-Latency mode that helps reduce input lag to ensure fluid gameplay and Variable Refresh Rate technology. Additionally, a DisplayPort 1.4 connection offers stable 144Hz visuals.

The monitor is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium, and ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync). ELMB Sync enables the use of ELMB and variable-refresh-rate technologies simultaneously for fluid and responsive gameplay.
